Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Aimee Kaplan, LCSW

About me

My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a collaborative, evidence-based environment that fosters growth, self-awareness, and emotional healing. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, focusing on helping clients build coping skills, increase emotional regulation, and develop strategies for managing life’s challenges.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified School Social Worker, I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Supportive Counseling, tailored to the individual needs of each client.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Adelphi University and my Master of Social Work from Columbia University. My clinical practice is rooted in providing culturally competent care and supporting clients in navigating a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
