Payment & Cancellation Policies

Payment by Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans with new ones being added regularly. Please check the list below. If you don’t see your insurance listed, feel free to contact us to see if we accept it. 

We don’t accept Medicaid, Fidelis or Healthfirst.

We can not start therapy until we have your insurance information on file and also a credit card to pay for deductibles and copays. We will charge your credit card the day of each session. 

 

Self Pay 

“if you don’t have insurance, please contact us to discuss self pay rates.  You will be responsible for the full amount. We can not start therapy until you have a credit card on file with us. We will charge your credit card on the day of each session. 

 

Cancellation policy

We ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. For sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance you will be responsible for an $75 fee. This fee can not be billed to your insurance company because we can’t bill your insurance for a session that was not attended. 

 

Good Faith Estimate/No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
